I’ve found and tested the new café Silberknie in Stuttgart recently with friends. Find out what I think about it in the post.
Café Silberknie in Stuttgart is located behind Staatsgalerie, at Moserstraße 13. I found this new place online when I was looking for a new, fun location where I could have breakfast/brunch with a group of friends on a Saturday.
I got in touch with the owner via their facebook fanpage and she answered all my questions right away. I found out that Café Silberknie in Stuttgart doesn’t have a breakfast or brunch menu but you can choose from the following:
- sandwiches
- grilled focaccia
- müsli
- rice pudding
- croissants
- brezeln
- a selection of pastries
- cake
What else can you ask for?! 🙂
When we arrived it was quite empty and far from crowded at Café Silberknie in Stuttgart. I suppose this will change when this place will be better known. But on the other hand, it’s a bit away from the city center and will thus probably never be as full as some other places.
I loved the interior right away. Quite a mix of styles, very relaxed and charming.
We went for müsli and unpictured cake and focaccia. My friend Julia was even brave enough to test the beet root chai latte (she said it’s was an experience :-)).
When we left I took one of the homemade Macaron with me (unpictured as well as I managed to smash it in my handbag…) which tasted great as well!
What I liked about Cafè Silberknie in Stuttgart
I actually liked everything – the relaxed atmosphere, the taste of the freshly prepared food and the super friendly owner.
What I didn’t like
If I had to mention one thing it might be the red chairs. The look super cool and comfy – but they are not from my point of view 🙂
