1. Kugelpfad Denkendorf – Nature Experience Path and Outdoor Ball Track
The Kugelpfad Denkendorf features a variety of stations that offer something for everyone. Along the way, you will encounter not only marble runs but also playgrounds, a barefoot path and more, providing diverse play opportunities for children of different age groups.
Additionally, the trail is dotted with informative signs (in German) that share fun facts about the local flora and fauna, as well as quizzes to test your knowledge. This combination of play and education makes the Kugelpfad in Denkendorf a unique adventure in nature for families.

2. Holzkugelbahn Schillerhöhe – Wooden Marble Run in Holzgerlingen
The wooden marble run in Holzgerlingen is a short but delightful outdoor attraction situated on the hill Schillerhöhe in Holzgerlingen. This approximately 150-meter-long outdoor ball track features a variety of creative elements, including a xylophone that produce music as the marbles roll over it.
Length: 750 meter from the parking lot up to the starting point of the Kugelbahn. Then 750 meters back. The ball run itself is 150 meters long.

Benches/Picnic Areas: Yes, located above the marble run at the playground Schillerhöhe.
Parking/Starting point: Parking available at Holzkugelbahn, Im Hartwasen, 71088 Holzgerlingen. From there you have to walk up the hill Schillerhöhe in order to find the Outdoor marble run. At the beginning of the run you can also buy a wooden ball for 50 Cent.

Fun Fact: Holzkugelbahn Schillerhöhe was developed by forest ranger Achim Klausner along with 50 apprentices from the nearby Mercedes-Benz factory.
3. Herzogliche Kugelbahn – Ducal Marble Run in Kernen-Stetten in the Remstal
This amazing outdoor ball track is not only one of the longest in the Stuttgart area but also one of the most beautiful and creative marble runs. It features exciting stations such as flipper tracks and marble races. The route ends at a playground equipped with a fantastic climbing course and a barbecue area, making it ideal for a family picnic at the end of a fun day in nature.
Length: 5 km from parking lot and back
Stroller-friendly? Manageable but partly very steep. The last stations are hard to reach with a stroller and you might have to walk a little detour.
Toilets: At the beginning of the Marble run at Sängerheim Restaurant.
Benches/Picnik Areas: You will pass several benches along the way and there is a nice picnic area at the end of the marble run.
Parking Area/ Starting Point: The official parking area is Parkplatz Weinstraße, Weinstraße, 71394 Kernen im Remstal. From here it is a steep hike up the vineyard to the start of the Marble Run. Please note: It is not allowed to drive up to Sängerheim, where the Marble Run begins. You have to walk up there.
