Hi guys! I told you already that one of Moritz’ good friends is the singer Alex Straub. He performed at our wedding while my dad walked me down the aisle and made it a truly magical moment. He also performs in the ensemble “Rififi” (their musical “The old aunts” is hilarious!! !!) and – most importantly – sings his own folk music songs (Schlager). Lately, he was invited to the show “Schlagerhitparade” to participate in a contest with seven other singers. Of course, Moritz and I were there to support him.
The studio is located in Waldbronn-Neurod (yes, I haven’t heard of that town before, too ) in an old factory.
Quite a colorful studio, hum? But the Schnitzel they serve is really nice:
And this is the guy we came for:
Our star for the “Schlagerhitparade”: Alex Straub!
I won’t put up pictures of the show because you can check out the whole film:

If you don’t want to listen to all songs, just fast-forward to minute 27. And if you want to see the most fascinated fan –singing and dancing to his tunes – check out minute 28:45!
The song is still haunting me… “Nimm den nächsten Flieger…!” Woooohooooo!
If you want to support Alex, too, call for him: 01379-69030005! Fingers crossed for him. He’s such a great guy and a wonderful singer. I really want him to make it to the next round.
And as faithful fans, of course we lined up after the show to get his autograph:
And as VIP-fan, I got a picture with the man of the evening, as well
And just before we were about to leave, the show master Andy Hocewar was walking around, too. So I grabbed this guy and forced him on a picture with me, too:
And now, I don’t have time for blogging anymore because I have to call for Alex!!!
