Hi guys! We’ve spent the last four days in one of our favorite cities: Vancouver! In this four days we walked 150 km (!!) – mainly along the seawall. Vancouver is just the perfect place for drifting around. And that’s exactly what we did!
This is my third post about our three week vacation in beautiful Canada. If you want to know more about what to do in the Canadian Rockies and on Vancouver Island then check out my previous posts first:
My top ten things to do in Vancouver do still include everything I put into a blog post last time we visited beautiful Vancouver two years ago. You find this post here:
I would only include one more thing: Cycle Stanley Park!
There are tons of places where you can rent bikes around the park. Moritz and I have never done it before but we tought we give it a go this time (mainly because my feet were hurting after the first three days as we walked around 30 km every day! :-)).
The trail along the seawall is paved and thus super easy to ride on. And the views are stunning:
But the seawall is also very crowded. However, ss soon as you leave the paved path and enter the woods, you’re by yourself – apart from some cute wildlife… Beautiful!
We rode for a while in the shadows of the old trees and payed Beaver Lake a visit before we returned the bikes after 2 hours.
Vancouver was our final destination on this trip. It is sad to leave this beautiful city and amazing Canada. But we’ll be back, that’s for sure!
Have you ever been to Vancouver? What did you like best? What are your favorite things to do in Vancouver?
